Summer 2009 Off-Season Training with the 5/3/1 Method. These are the results from the third week of the second month. Next week is a deload, then I begin the third and final month of this protocol.

  • @elohim666 Thanks Marcus! I'm currently coming off of hip surgery and have abandoned 5/3/1 for all but the OHP. However, I've been using it for the OHP since November of 2009 and am still hitting PRs. I'll ride this train until it falls off the tracks. Cheers!

  • If you hadn't told me you used to DJ, I never would have expected that KRS-ONE and BDP's music would be another mutually shared pasttime. Great stuff!

    My real reason for responding is to ask why only 3 months on the 5/3/1 protocol? Bored with it or is something else on the horizon?
