For those who did not see this performance live, Jennifer sang this song all the way through. Whoever posted this video spliced it at the end. The portion you see that is out of sync is where Jennifer was thanking Aretha for the "honor" of singing one of her songs. This girl is the real deal; no autotune required. She is the only performer, other than Aretha herself, that received a standing ovation.

First off, all of the performers that did this tributte used auto tune including chaka khan and natalie cole and we all know they can blow. They all did the tribute cause they love Aretha. it wasn't a contest. jennifer Hudson can blow. She wasn't screaming. She was simply using her head voice. She knows what she is doing. If that style of sining wasn't good, she wouldn't have been up there in the first place.

The auto tune kept singing while jen, had stop singing at the end of the song. No one can do it like Aretha. I agree the screaming needs to stop. I agree with James post, Auto tune crap.

@MrTiredofBS i'm a fan of both Aretha and Jennifer but she did good but she did not out-do Areatha Franklin i'm sorry agree to disagree i love and repsct them both but no in my opinion she did not sing this better the Aretha Franklin.
