"Red Blooded Woman" is a popR&B song written by British songwriters Karen Poole and Johnny Douglas for Kylie Minogue's ninth studio album Body Language (2003). It also was produced by Douglas and received a mixed reception from music critics. Released in the first quarter of 2004, the song reached number-one in Estonia, Romania, Hong Kong, Macedonia, and South Africa. In the United States, "Red Blooded Woman" was released to success on the Billboard magazine dance charts, where it reached the top position on the Hot Dance Airplay chart.
The music video for Red Blooded Woman was directed by Jake Nava, who has directed videos for Beyoncé, Britney Spears, Mariah Carey, Kelis, and the Spice Girls.
The music video of Red Blooded Woman was filmed in Los Angeles, United States in 2003.
