you mean the difference between aphelion and perihelion of earth's orbit IS 5 million kilometers. and it describes constant shape of earth's orbit exactly because it is a part of multibody system. otherwise it would have been circular. besides if there were indeed any effects due to jupiter or even saturn (first has a period of 11 the other 30 years) it would be trivial to correlate them to our over a century long observations of climate and biosphere. The other planets, particularily jupiter have their effects, the earths orbit is NOT static or stable, muppet.
