I try to upload a classic game relevant to the opponent at hand, and Northwestern happens to be up. There's not a lot of exciting games in this series, so it's any wonder that I have a game from 1989. The Buckeyes won big in their second season under Cooper, but Northwestern's offense was pretty potent this year.
In this game, the Buckeyes pounded the Wildcats on the ground in hopes of keeping the ball out of their offense's hand. Carlos Snow, Scottie Graham, James Bryant and Dante Lee all had huge games on the ground.

Bob Christian was really the only guy worth any salt on this team. He played on the Bears for a couple years. This is post Chris Hinton and Curtis Duncan

Northwestern was awful back in the '80's. But they've improved.
You have to credit Gary Barnett, Pat Fitzgerald, and the late Randy Walker for turning Northwestern's football program around.
