I'll definately hit Lyon Arboretum again on my next visit. Ray Baker the resident palm expert who works at the garden is a fountain of information. They have over 600 species of palms in that garden, awesome!

Indeed I have been to the botanical gardens. My favourite is Lyonn Arboretum because they have one of the largest Palm collections. I love palms! I like Fosters Gardens alot too. KoKo Crater is another good one as well. I use to go to Paradise Park, but they closed that one. I could very easily live in Hawaii, I love the tropics! My cousin lived there for 10 years and he eventually moved to New Mexico because the cost of living was so high. Very cool you were also married there.

I tell you what, this will be my 13th visit. I was married there nearly 23 years ago , right at the base of Diamond Head in a little park right on the ocean at 3223 Diamond Head Rd.. WE were there in 2006 and 2007. Probably stay at the Oahana Waikiki west again, stayed there several times over the years. We always have so much fun in Waikiki that's why we always return. Cheers

OH AWESOME!! We have lived here since May 5, 2004 and got married here May 5, 2005. Have no plans on ever moving LOL. I assume you have been the botanical gardens that they have?? BEATIFUL and a must see!!
