Track Day 9-4-10 Video #2 - Raw Video of LOW SIDE CRASH

Pretty windy this day with gusts of 40 mph, scary at the end of the front straight at TMP Cayuga. Pretty cold too, only low 60's, but tires warmed up quick. Riding with my buddy Chris on another CBR 600 F4 orange black wearing all black gear and Travis on his black CBR wearing yellow/black gear. Sean, I think you were still trying to fix your throttle cable from sticking. Can't figure out what happened at turn 6, see the spill at about 10:35, photographer says I hit the dip and rear tire lost traction, time to upgrade suspension, or lose 30 lbs! A little dizzy, and sore shoulder, but OK ... my crotch zipper was busted open from the inside, fight-or-flight experience for the testinuts, guess they tried to jump ship ;-).

Left handle bar slammed into tank when bike hit curb, snapped right off and punched massive dent in tank with puncture, frame slider tried to work, but snapped right off, stator cover shattered lost 1/2 oil, left peg and rear set bent into chain, windshield snapped, fairing in great shape surprisingly, tail cracked and scratched ... I think I'll make this my dedicated track bike now. Chris, your CBR is definitely much prettier than mine now ;-) Travis, congrats for hitting 1:25 at the track that day, bummer I couldn't finish the day with you ! Next time we should bump to avoid all that traffic.

I friggin hate that corner. I almost highsided myself to the moon in that same corner last summer.
