@johnnythunders78 Wow, harsh. People seem to throw 'pseudointellectual' around with complete disregard for what it means. Gervais has no pretense of being intellectual, he's very frank about any ignorance he has and is perfectly genuine and intelligent. It would be nice for Morris and Ianucci to have a wider audience, yes. But bitterness is an ugly thing. Your contempt for undeserved worship smells of irony as Morris and Iannuci that you dub to be "geniuses" are good but that much better if any.

Having not seen this in years, it hit me again just how many tricks and scams Chris Morris crammed in to make a quality spoof. Absolute genius, so many jokes per minute.
I never even noticed that in the Jilly conversation Chris points out that Jimmy Page can put the elephant up. The mental image of an elephant cavorting around his estate periodically impaling herself on her own trunk while Jimmy Page looks on in amusement is worth the watch ALONE.
