[From "Kovacs Corner" on YouTube.com] - Jerry Seinfeld's self professed inspiration for his comedy series was the team of Bud Abbott & Lou Costello. Specifically, it has been attributed to Jerry that the A&C half hour syndicated series from 1951 to 1953 was of particular interest to him and his brand of comedy. During the first season, Bud and Lou would incorporate a more theatrical flavor to their sketch introductions by walking through a stage curtain at the start and throughout the show. Presented here is one of their convoluted math based jokes. Although the joke dates back to vaudeville, too many viewers as of today will probably fail the grab the basis of the gag,.
