BEI Kimco LAS Series VCA (Voice Coil Actuator) side profile. We introduced the new LAS13 Linear Voice Coil Actuator Series in response to customer need for an actuator with integrated position sensor in a compact package
ok i understand that its basically 2 magnetic fields..attracting and repelling..but what im not catching on to is the control system. how is it made to go in and out..i mean the basically uses the same kind of windings as a magnetic motor right? so what keeps it from spinning? is it some kind of zone or step by step activation?...im trying to make a much larger one at home but cant figure out the control system.
Hello! Thanks for making this video! im looking for a voicecoil actuator that has a usable range between about 100-160 cycles per second with a 1mm and a 3mm stroke. Any help in locating some would be greatly appreciated.
@KeithWasHere1 please contact us at sales@beikimco.com, or if in US call 760-597-7042 or 1-800-572-7560. Thank you. Keith
