Thanks for the info, that's good to know. By the way, version 2.2 is now available, which fixes those two memory leaks.

@daveblundelldev i found the reason why it would crasg it is because of my firmware i was using 3.0 3.1 fixes the problem for me
-
I have heard a couple reports of crashing upon load. I haven't heard of it not picking the right song though.
I believe that it crashing upon loading and/or upon picking a song are due to a couple of memory leaks which will be fixed in version 2.2. That version is focused on performance and stability enhancements. I'm hoping to submit it to Apple within the next week.
-
i mean picking a song it just closes and the song you pick is wrong ?
-
does this crash when launching for anyone else ?

Thanks. I got an email this morning from Apple -- TapTunes 2.0 is now available in the App Store! Even better, to celebrate the release of version 2.0, I am making the app free for a limited time. Make sure to get it before the price goes back up.
Also, ratings/reviews on the App Store are always helpful. =)
Hi,
the possibility to choose Tracks which will be added to a list played after the current is good. But I found no way to show the list of tracks already added.
What do you think about a possibility to show that list?
Additionally it would be great to add files also in normal Album view mode (when opening an Album via the booklet). Perhaps you could add also a "+" Button to those track lists?
Than the function would be great!
Thank you
Christian

As it stands currently, there's no way to be able to access the current playback queue. Hopefully in a future OS update, Apple will add this ability in which case I'll be happy to add it in as it would be a very helpful feature.
As for adding songs to a queue to be played after the current tracklist is finished, I really like the idea and have added it to my "Ideas for Future Updates" list. The 3.0 feature list is finalized, but this feature may show up in a later version.

Ideas for new functions:
- Possibility to select a track, which will be played after the current is completed (as in old music boxes)
- party function to select the next tracks (stack) and vote function to change the order (sorting by votes)...
- create playlists by genre/similar to track or stars and sorting "long time not played" - the sorting is the most important...
Would be the gratest player ever!!!

I like the party mode idea. That could make sense for an iPad version of the app for a couple reasons: (a) there will be more space in the interface for additional features, and (b) the iPad is potentially more of a social gadget, as opposed to the iPhone/iPod Touch being a more personal gadget.
The sorting is already a really neat idea, I'll see if I can work that into the UI in a future version. Can't promise anything but I'll try it out.
