Hi, first off great tutorial. I learned a lot. I'm having trouble with making the overtones stand out though. I can make them, but they are barely bearable even to myself. Any tips?

How do you push the overtone to be louder than the drone note?
janecapps08 11 months ago
@janecapps08 by carefully applying some tension into the supporting muscles of the neck and the base of the tongue so that the drone sound gets filtered more effectively and 'held back' in volume to allow the overtones to come through.

i can get one but i find it hard to change to a different harmonic, can anyone explain the action with your tongue a bit more?
ThomSmith 1 year ago
@ThomSmith Hi, you use the muscles at the base of the tongue to push it up and forwards so that the tip of the tongue travels forwards along the ridge in your upper palate and the middle of the tongue starts to approach the upper palate also.
