@ManVsZ0MBiE Aw I see, well, the way I see it, just plan for the future. If you think to yourself that the money you spent could have been better saved for something in the future, like a car repair or something else, chances are you should have probably saved it. Although I understand your reasoning for buying the gun. Just consider the future, and make a smart choice.

I got around $380 for Christmas. I spent $200 on a new BOB with new stuff. I then spent $130 on new boots and multicam BDU

If you take 2 people each buying a $1200 tv. One person saves for 3 months to buy it. Another buys it right on the spot with a credit card.
The first guy buys it after 3 months and owns it.
The second guy is paying interest on top of a monthly bill.
If they both were to lose their jobs which one would be better off. The person who owns the tv and has nothing left to pay on it. Or the second person who wont be able to afford their credit card payment which will also result in extra fees.
