Y quiero agregar que el tema es sencillo porque quiere. Es sencillo en su letra y música. En añadidura, en su nombre. Es la canción más sencilla de la historia y a su vez la más bella.

El tema es sencillo y bello por lo sencillo. Tiene lo suficiente para calificar como poesía cantada. No hace falta más. Y además está magistralmente interpretada. Tan bien como podría haberlo hecho J.M. Serrat, si lo dejaban.

Death of a Clown es otra melodia totalmente distinta. Ni siquiera el lalala es en el mismo tempo. Por otro lado en la musica hay un numero limitado de combinaciones musicales, por lo que es inevitable que se den parecidos entre canciones, aun cuando estos no sean intencionales. Por ejemplo es She's So Fine de los Chiffons y el My Sweet Lord de George Harrison.
