Ora Lee - played slow

In response to some comments about this tune...... first of all, thanks for the kind words about the other, normal-tempo YouTube clip that I posted.

The way I play this tune uses a lot of hammer-on's and pull-off's, so the first time through on this slowed-down version I play with my index finger only to show the hammers & pulls. Tune is in G, banjo is in standard G tuning. Banjo is my Cole Eclipse 4000 w/ nylgut strings. I held the microphone in my lap behind the pot to record this.

If you like this version you'll probably like Bob Carlin's version on his CD Banging and Sawing where it is played it as a banjo-fiddle duet (with Bruce Molsky ??) @ faster tempo.
