Frustrated by old-school politics and energised by a wide-open race, young people are expected to be a potent political force in the US presidential election this November, especially with both John McCain and Barack Obama fighting for the votes of those 30 and under.

Al Jazeera's Sherine Tadros reports from Florida on the young Americans looking to make a difference in the White House race.

Al jazeera english, why don't you profile young American leftest activists or even older leftest activist (and I mean left of Barack Obama)? Neither of the two major presidential candidates represent leftest values of anti-militarism, anti-imperialism, social and racial justice, labour rights etc. We are always excluded from the major media; we need your help.
