  • im convinced these guys would have become HUGE if they hadnt got mixed up with that ego maniac fuckwit John Sinclair...they had enough natural reserves of rebelliousness and genuine proto-punk attitude AND the talent and kick ass tightness to take the world by storm...instead they were manipulated into being a marketing channel for Sinclair who wanted be the golden boy of the counter culture...the 5 realised this too but by then it was too late...fuck you Sinclair (not Hudsons)

  • @neilus That may be true, but they were old enough to make their own decision. They didn't HAVE to go with him. I do think, like you said, that at least some of them regretted the politcal (or pseudo-political) involvement right off.

  • If only the Black To Comm take was full...That would be nice. Anyone know where one would be?

  • @RockNEHouseNHipHop I've never seen a full take unfortunately. I don't think it exists for that show but I could be wrong.

  • Saw the 5 in december 1971 at a show while I was doing acid and they were awesome, even my whiskey drinking friends agreed. Now I see Germany 1972 and they were as good if not better.

  • the perfection !!

  • This is so tight my temper's almost exploding!

    MC5 is pure rock n roll !
