There's quite a variety of clouds in these sequences, and a surprising amount of them are all man-made - especially those first few sequences near the beginning. Thanks for checking it out!

You know, the camera you have now is pretty decent. I was impressed with its specs... not too different from my S5. Put some effort into learning and using it and then if there are features you need beyond its capability, look into a replacement. Otherwise, save the money for other toys! ;-)

When I finish with this condo--decorating--and I have money again LOL--I will get your advice on what kind of digital video camera to get--or what features I should get--- when I finally do buy something better.... I'll ask you what features to look for and all--but don't tell me now-i'll never remember LOL..

I shot all these with the Canon 5S as photos, one frame at a time in manual mode, which is great for both day and night work. You should be able to do most of this with your camera too.
"Nght shot" settings are most common in full-on camcorders and still-image cameras. But like you said, still cameras with video ability aren't really designed for complex video work, so their video features are usually lacking some. Keep playing with it - the more the better! :-)

Ok I thought so but was not sure--so did you do this with night vision? My camera only has night 'photo's' as far as I can tell--I can't find a setting for night vision with the video--this is really cool the way you did it !
