34067 'Tangmere' on 'The Bath & Bristol Christmas Express' 24/11/11

SR Battle of Britain Class 4-6-2 no.34067 'Tangmere' hauled the Poole - Bristol - Poole tour 'The Bath & Bristol Christmas Express' (1Z87 & 1Z88). For the outward run I decided to go to Freshford, a favourite spot of mine where we see 34067 running through the Limpley Stoke Valley nicely, safety valves lifting just before the station and giving a whistle for her spectators. I then went to Bristol to catch the light engine moves where we see 34067 heading off to be turned ready for the return journey, at the same time a Class 150 unit arrives into Bristol, with a two tone and afterwards we see a Class 143 'Nodding Donkey' departing. 34067 now turned, she returns and runs into the middle road between Platforms 2 & 3, we get a good look at her and a DB Schenker Class 66 no.66156 passes by light engine, 34067 the heads off to Barton Hill Depot for servicing. As the return would be in darkness I went to Keynsham where there is plenty of light at the station. We first see a FGW Class 43 HST pass through at speed heading for London then 34067 arrives and thunders through the station leaving plenty of steam and smoke behind.
