Unlike most cheesemakers, Cowgirl Creamery not only makes, but sells and distributes their own handcrafted organic cheeses, giving them a competitive advantage. But despite a devoted following and growing popularity, the company's founders, Peggy Smith and Sue Conley, face numerous challenges, including cash flow and strict government regulations.
I like artisan cheese - and I like Cowgirl Creamery. The only thing that sort of turned me off to this was that milking machine on the cow. It reminded me of the Matrix where humans are connected to pods and being used as batteries. Artisan is supposed to be all by hand, not machines. Nevertheless - I eat foods from much more horrible sources that use much more terrible methods.so I can't really complain much *shrugs*
