  • I am Japanese. Most video content is wrong. In Japan late 16th century, there was mass production of guns. In 1600 "sekigahara" battle、50,000 guns were used. The large number of guns used in war as a Westerner is that 200 years later. "The Last Samurai" is a complete lie movie.

  • I keep having this dream. that all modern weapons are ended by some alien power. and the samurai make a glorious return. what I wouldnt give to see that...

  • This is beautiful. I am a greek-american and I think that the Japanese culture and history is awesome. But unfortunately I don't know much about it. Didn't have time because I am a very busy man. My favorite part of Japanese culture and history is the samurai. Their armor are so beautiful.

  • Very inaccurate

  • its an excellent video, tiful scenes of japan, great photo choices, and the wonderful music of hans zimmer who knows how to emulate a cullture and brings its music to the orchestra. well done! i loved it!

  • Spartans and Samurais the most proffesional soldiers ever !

  • Samurais, best sword fighters in the world, i reckom japan would have conquered all of europe before guns were invented but they lacked ships and transport

  • I dont think the film was trying get a historical point accros

  • @zousandazou being japanese doesnt mean that you are a historian. And you are incorrect,in 1600 Japan was the "Closed Country".There were guns, but far from mass production, and 50,000 guns in the battle?LOL,you shouldnt read so much wikipedia, its a complete lie.

  • i am also japanese i belive samurais would do anything for there master for there people for there honor there where not afraid to doe they did not break the bushido if they did they would prefer to die than to discrase there honor they are not men but streagth or power but by there honor
