Artist: David Keith Jones - Download from iTunes and other stores. Label: VoceVersatile Album: Celtic Hearts .......
This Hebridean song from Barra is set to a transliteration of the Gaelic eg ' 'The far Cuillins are putting love on me'. If Gaelic words were available I would have used them. A 'cromach' is a shepherd's crook.

  • wonderful singing

  • How kind - thank you. Scotland is special for me. Just now I'm preparing an album including this song.

  • very interesting and characteristic piece

  • Thanks Eliana - the jaunty rhythm is characteristically Gaelic. The tune is catchy but not legato.
