Can we get a Canadian to do this job...I"m tired of this guy. Any respecting knowledgable hockey fan knows that there are at least 10 teams too many, too many games (should be 70 games tops) and the Stanley Cup should be won no later than April 30th. Winnepeg,Hamilton,Quebec should all have teams and get rid of the salary cap!!!

Bettman is such a dumbass. Keep hockey in areas where fans apperitate it. Places where kids get off scholl and still play pond hockey. That's how clubs can actually make money! And the new salary cap starts with a $43million floor, which cripples teams like Florida, Carolina, Nashville, etc.. they dont have the income to sustain the sport there. I'm fromt Indiana and why Fort Wayne doesn't have any NHL team is beyond me. The city is larger and more populated than Columbus! Local Hockey thrives!

Minnesota to Dallas (losing money; for sale)

Expansion - Florida (losing money)

Expansion - Nashville (losing money; for sale)

First you cut down the off days so Detroit has a disadvantage, then let the refs hold their whistles on the Pit thugs, then let the Pens have an extra player, all this so Crosby helps your popularity. Come on do they actually think that Gretzky wouldn't want to move the Coyotes 20 minutes away from where he grew up? Of course he's going to say that he's with the franchise when he's the head coach of the team. Mario won two Stanley Cups in Pittsburgh so he would naturally want the team to stay put, but what kind of attachment do they think Wayne has with Phoenix? They don't even like hockey there, the fan base is a minority.
