Conrail Blue C40-8W Duo in 2009 on NS 38G

38G heads Eastbound past my house about to clear signal 302E on his way to Camden, NJ. The power unexpectedly was two, still blue Ex-Conrail 8-40CWs.

NS D8-40CW#8337(Ex-CR#6091)
Sadly, my favorite Leslie RS3L was no longer on this Ex-Connie, instead a Nathan P5 was slapped on. =p

Sure seems to me like the dash 8's are some of the last units that NS seems to want to repaint, or am I just crazy? Cool vid!

Yeah, it doesnt seem to be high priority. Its too bad some of the Dash 8s looked crappy when Conrail went out, now most are eye sores.

I would agee entirely. Some people may not release this, but there are only 230 conrail painted units left on the active roster. Also, Note to this, thats 230 out of 768 engines in the whole system running..
