"The Z is fitted with ABS?? What happened to that??" Long story. I'll try to sum-up: Installed StopTech BBK. Braking was great, but VDC/TCS couldn't handle it (fyi: you cannot fully disengage VDC, even if it says it's off, it really isn't). So I pulled the VDC fuse on the track, which disengages all electronic assists, including ABS. Believe me, it was WAY better with everything turned off.

So what exactly happened? I couldnt tell, do you have the Brembo package? If not, you need an upgrade, as I know my stock brakes with upgraded pads still fade after 4-5 high speed stops like that. Hope the car is ok!

I had the StopTech big brake kit on all 4 wheels. There was nothing wrong with the brakes. I had ABS turned off. The pad squeal is fairly normal with racing pads. All that happened was I used up the tires. They were toast :)
