Dr Catherina Becker's research group, based at the Centre for Neuroregeneration, in Edinburgh University, is working on a project involving neuroregeneration of Motor Neurones in Zebra Fish with damaged spinal cords. Catherina gave a simple yet in-depth presentation, at this year's Annual Conference and AGM, outlining the progress made so far, showing on-screen views of embryonic cell division and stem cell stimulation of motor neurones. MND Scotland is supporting this project, with a PhD studentship, to fund a member of the group for three years.
