Even the simplest of things can give us some useful vocabulary and verbs in English. This video gives you the vocabulary and some verbs that we use when talking about jars and how to open them.
I hope you get as much out of it as I got out of eating it.
The English Social Network is a Facebook-type site that allows English language learners to meet like-minded people and share their thoughts and ideas about English.
Social networks exist to give everyone the chance to participate and share their knowledge and ideas for the benefit of others.
The English Social Network is dedicated to bringing you daily videos giving common expressions in English. It has a lot of dynamic, fast-changing content that will keep you interested and help you to continually develop your English skills.
I encourage students to submit their comments by video, too. This way students can practice their spoken English and make use of the new technology. This is an exciting new way of learning English.

You have left no room for betterment. Your clips of real-life English are what I want. A non-native speaker usually is exposed to academic English via English classes and reading books. When we come to an Enlish-speaking country, we find it hard to express ourselves. After we are exposed to the expressions, we often find we have known those words but we don't know we should express it in that way. e.g. "screw" and "unscrew" used here. I would have tried to say "open, close it tightly", instead.

Hi Richard, you are right, even the simplest of things can give us some useful vocabularies. Now I've learned a few words which are utmost important for me and I didn't know it not long ago like glass jar, screw thread, unscrew, back on etc. How practical it is! I'm looking forward to having more of this kind of lessons. Thanks a lot.
