@moocho73 What opinions? The only reason why Aikido is controversial is because the people who don't do it are the ones who go against it. Why don't you try a class instead of talking like you know it on the internet? There is no such thing as a fake martial art, and not every martial art will defend you, it's how you use it. These teachers are here to show you the martial techniques of each moves, but it's up to you to enhance it or do it in the same form. Trust me, I do BJJ and Aikido.
