One very common mistake is to worry too much about current trends in SEO. Constantly building diverse backlinks from many different sources (blog comments, social bookmarks, blog posts, etc) has always worked and will continue in the future. It is important to keep the rate of linkbuilding up, and not be frightened off by the latest scare story that 'SEO is dead' because it's never been true.

1. Move to a FAST server.

Google wants to feel fast for users. They can't do that if your site loads longer than 3 sec and has a slow ping time. Try testing yours.

2. Get Bloggers to Link to You By...

Asking them to guest blog on YOUR site. This won't build links to your site. What this does is make the bloggers feel like they owe you one!

3. Do a Twitter Search for "(your keyword) wordpress."

You'll find all the bloggers who JUST NOW released a blog about your keyword. Contact ASAP
