  • @NoMoreBlatherDotCom Eeek! The fiendish Koch Bros.! Let's lock our doors and hide under the covers. This is a typical comment from the always-angry, always-name-calling left. No, people don't vote because they want the comments removed. They simply want to express their disapproval. So what? Isn't that what you're doing here with your diatribes -- expressing disapproval? Look, I know you're in a lather that we don't all bow the knee to your hero, Barack the Magnificent, but try to get a grip.

  • ...and that's when all the nut gathering squirrels gathered up all the squirrels who had been stealing and pointing guns at their heads for so long, made tiny little nooses, and hung then from the tallest tree. The corpses of the socialists, collectivists, fascists, cronies of the squirrel military industrial complex, and authoritarians made for excellent fertilizer. The squirrels had a revolution and lived happily ever after.

  • @Jmortal

Nice reductio ad absurdium. Not terribly effective though. Post Office is about to go bankrupt anyway. Public Schools are a disaster where we're spending about 2x per pupil that we'd spend to send them to the best private schools where they'd actually get an education. Safety and Health Regulatory Agencies? More like obstructions. OSHA is a joke. And how about if our workers get to do their own investing for their retirement instead of letting Uncle Sam do it? He's not done well.

  • excellent video.

  • @4thstuning no happily ever after. the nut is devalued and the problem isn't solved. ending: sad squirrels.

  • This squirrel will take care of his own nuts, hands off my nuts Ben Bernutty!

    Ron Paul 2012!!

  • Atlas Shrugged in less that 10min. Yay!

  • @lysandermb You're kidding, right?

  • This video is incoherent. Nuts cannot be spent until they have grown, so the squirrels could not have annually spent more nuts than grew.

In the US, politicians were able to spend excessively only because they first took away the dollars gold backing which allowed them to print money to spend.

I'm amazed that Powerline would highlight a video that omits THE crucial fact about the debt crisis.

  • Clearly the solution was used by the founders and we should return to it. It's the old saying "Beggars can't be choosers". Those living off the taxpayers should have no vote. The price of living off the taxes paid by others should be no say in affecting how much of other people's hard heard you are given. Such a principle would prevent the politicians from buying votes with tax dollars, encourage work, and remove all incentive to organize those on handouts for political purposes.

  • AWESOME!! Thank You! Liked, Shared, etc! :-)

  • @Jmortal Yes! The U.S. could be the first nation to fully adopt capitalism and set an example for the world. We started out in this direction but without any understanding of the philosophical justification for economic freedom. Without a moral defense of economic freedom, i.e., capitalism, socialism took over and destroyed the progress made. The results are all around us. "It seems" you got it.
