  • Like the other poster said, carving bars have no sprocket, so you run the chain looser so as not to overheat and burn up the bar.

    Nice work and video BTW. Congrats to mr. Pratt on the great exposure.

  • because he is using a quarter tip carving bar. it doesnt have a sprocket in the nose of the bar. The slack is needed to give the chain less resistance.

  • I wonder why he has his chain with so much slack in it?
