Megaman X5 rank route 3/8 - X to SA on Mattrex

Part of a series of videos where X and Zero reach MMH/MEH rank on what I believe to be (one of) the shortest route(s) possible.

Once again, avoiding damage is essential to getting a rank upgrade. The area in the beginning shouldn't bother you much if you just keep descending. The ride armor part (you can't take the other path 'cause you'll lose rank points) may give you some trouble. Damage taken in the armor also counts against your rank! And finally, there's the boss. You'll have to learn his pattern somewhat well. Of course, if you're having too much trouble, there's always the option of getting the Ultimate Armor...

I guess I shouldn't be surprised that my mind blanked out (if it wasn't already blank) in the beginning and I forgot to dodge those bullets in the beginning. That was one of my early runs, too! I kept trying for a no damage run but I always screwed up on the boss...
