I sat a atable with friends, 2 ft from the edge of front row center, and watched John Matall work his magic. I got up and danced, he jumped off the stage, sat in my chair and pointed his mike back at the stage. of course he did room to move. 1983 kingston ontario

@Gabusification Yes. This kind of music is much more better than what the teenagers hear nowadays.
I'm 15, too, and I think the same. "Old" groups, like the Beatles (my favourite), will never be forgotten.

Holy crap: Look how slim Buddy Whittington looks compared to present day. Almost did not recognize him. Easily 100lbs. heavier now.

@skiboy0300 I was your age in the 70's and while a lot of great music made then , what got played on the radio was pretty much crap then too.
The radio has always played junk. You gotta find the good stuff on your own and you're doing a pretty good job of it.
