The Transformers G1 - Nonexistant Season 5 Intro

Not appeased with my season 3 intro attempt, I decided to cobble a bunch of commercial clips and give it another go, this time aiming at a post-The Rebirth era intro with the same Stan Bush/Vince DiCola intro theme.

Unfortunately many of the commercial clips were only available in bad-quality video, so I apologize for the crummyness and blurryness.

It is the year 2007, and Cybertron has begun a new golden age after the near-total defeat of the Decepticons by the Autobots and their new Headmaster warriors- but Galvatron and his minions refuse to give up the fight, and have allied with the revived Starscream!

...meanwhile, the treacherous Quintessons have set their own plans in motion, and have rebuilt the Transformers' most fearsome enemy of all time- under their control!

@MrMandude365 I know that but they are not called Powermasters in Japan, they are called Godmasters. Maybe Season 5 is shorter than Supergod Masterforce? It is still equivalent as a season regardless of what ever title it has, would you say Transformers 2010 (Japanese name of Season 3) is a separate show?

@Primus2X Powermasters are the american version that later became godmasters in japan. And if he ment supergod masterforce then why didn't he just say soinstead of season 5? Besides the japanese shows are more shows then seasons.

@MrMandude365 Obviously he meant Supergod Masterforce, and it is called Godmasters(Which sounds more epic) in Japan not Powermasters.

@jeydo There was a differant opening for season 5. You can find it on youtube if you look hard enough you can also find the credits and the first 3 episodes. Just search G1 S5 episode 1 pt1.

@MrMandude365 I think this was referring to a actual 'opening' video not if there was a season 5. Sounds like they ran out of steam though

@CockassProductions there is no season 5 of japan. After seaon 3 instead of seaon 4 they aired the headmasters masterforce victory and zome with the return of convoy operation combination and g2 mangas. Season 5 aired in america. It was all reruns with new leiveaction segments with the characters from 1988-1990 like the powermasters, pretenders, ect. Man i am tired of explaining this to people so all I have to say is step up your tf knowloge "fans"

@Mat001 I am refering to the live action secments of season 5. If people would listen to me it tells a lot of stories in a short time actualy. Think about it optimus (as a powermaster) tells a boy old transformer stories in autobot city that is inhabited by humans with the transformers from the comercials after rebirth. With means basicly that those comercials are cannon, the characters in them exist, and autobot city is no longer a base leading to g2. Basicly Japaneese g1 and g2. That is awsome
