Control line is also good for getting the basics.

Seriously mate take up sewing or something less dangerous. Looking at some of that footage, flying is not for you!

@ilikchez I'm pretty broke this year. I'm not some rich guy. I have lots of debt to pay off and things to save for. You probably won't see anymore rc plane videos from me until 2013. btw, I finally did get better but it was costly. Learning how to fly rc planes did not come easy for me but I still loved trying even with all the failure. That's the take away I wish people would have. If you really want to do something but suck at it, keep trying and eventually you'll get good at it.

Great video. I have just bought my first rc plane and will no doubt go through the same. Good for you to keep on trying!

@Simmey75cat Save yourself time and money and buy an RC flight simulator. I got much better after using RealFlight which comes with a realistic controller. They way I learned was very dangerous. I'm lucky that I never hit anyone. I'd advise you take more care than I did. The ParkZone F4U is not for beginners. Start with a beginner plane. I'd also recommend avoiding planes with motors and props in the front since you'll destroy them. I'd also recommend crash-proofing from killerplanes.
