Although I agree homophobia is abhorrent, I don't think you should advocate castration for homophobes when there are other, much quicker ways of shutting the bigots up. Apologies for misunderstanding your comment, but having seen so much bigotry at home and on the internet, my first instinct at seeing it is to mindlessly attack it. I read homophobia as homosexuality; for which I blame a heady combination of lab and finals. Good luck to you.

For the most part I care to much about other people to be suicidal but most people around here act like this is a don't ask don't tell state. Once they find out your gay the run and tell everyone so they can try and make your life miserable. I even get to hear all the bad gay jokes everywhere I try to get work. I owe child support and I will probably be in jail soon. They might as well just kill me. Tired of being followed and stalked. It's legal here in Oklahoma.

where I had to endure the salvation armies hate. Now I'm in housing after meeting my lover and I'm in a gay relationship. I was mentally tortured for most of the time I was in the salvation army until I met a new group of friends who where protective. That is where I met my new lover I am proud of who I am because he tells me everyday what a good person I am. I have been his live in caregiver sense he lost his leg to diabetes. I just don't want to see anyone else have to go through what I have.

I am gay and I've been through this brainwash that is why I hated myself for so long. I have a child because I thought I could force myself to be straight. I thought everyone hated gays at the time so I didn't want to be one. Now I live in a state that attacks gay people using religion as it's bases. I had to accept myself while being ridiculed. Now I feel stupid for moving here to protect my mother from an abusive man. Because he came after me with a baseball bat when I came out. I was homeless

You could switch Catholicism, Islam or any other Religion in for Homophobia and (save for the part about castration) the statement would be completely correct. Religious people do force their children to make certain choices and do brainwash them.

Also, if you're going to take the Bible seriously I hope you don't eat shellfish, pork or scampi. Also avoid wearing clothes of mixed fabrics and if a woman is raped, it's her fault. Finally you can't drink holy wine in a church, which sends communion to hell in a hand cart (there's more than this).

You can't cherry pick your verses. All or nothing.

I used to be LGBT, and I certainly know all about it. I unlike those who hate the LBGT community, am a true saint of The Most High God, for do you not know that the bible says he who hats his brother is a murderer? If you turn from all sin such as things like lying, stealing, hatred, fornication, being rude to others, cursing and blasphemy, and trust in The Lord Jesus Christ you will live forever after death in the kingdom of heaven in everlasting peace.

If you turn from sin and trust in The Lord Jesus Christ you will have everlasting life after death, and this is no mere religion, but a true fact indeed. Nothing will ever sum up why it is alright, becuase it is far from alright. I couldn't understand that when I was LGBT but now I do. Turn from sin and trust in The Lord Jesus Christ for salvation, unless you wish to remain in darkness, for He is the way, the truth and the life.
