Being a pretty good high school football player I always thought I was a badass. I recently started playing high school rugby and football is nowhere near as challenging as rugby. In football you could get away with not being in shape but rugby is on a whole nother level. I still love both but rugby is a lot more physically demanding.

@MARTINADBA1980 in that sense mma is way tougher than any other sport so rugby is for pussies

@aseroxmilez attempt at being funny = fail lol

@jonafromwales You do understand they are both different sports right? Rugby requires more endurance, and NFL explosiveness. They are both in the condition for their respective sports so one isnt in better condition then the other, when it comes to speed, weight training, and just being explosiveness rugby isnt really on the same level as NFL either.

@D3vIlFiSH9000 lol, Americans always say how well conditioned the their NFL players are lol. I'm like how? Rugby players are much more conditioned IMO. They are more like MMA fighters in their conditioning. NFL doesn't need much aerobic capacity, yet Americans seem to think NFL players are more conditioned. NFL players might be on more steroids but they are not on a rugby players level

@LCStreetPhotographer In the end, football and rugby are two completely different sports with different flow, style, tactics, and body types. Saying that you dont like how they break for a huddle to discuss the next play after every down in no way reflects the quality of the sport. There are several other factors to football that are more intensive than rugby but I wouldnt say that rugby sucks because of it.
@Goethewrote erm rugby came first mate so your comment immediately showed your poor knowledge on both sports history's
