  • Great stuff!

  • Does anyone have a video of when Jimmy Reid was interviewed by Parkinson in the early 70s along with Kenneth Williams? Williams is doing his best to be obnoxious to Jimmy by attempting to belittle him by quoting poetry and saying "I bet you don't know who wrote that. Jimmy then quotes some poetry himself and said "do you know who wrote that? Blank faces all round - he then says in a quitely proud moment, "I did".

    Result: Reid - 2 Williams own-goal.

Would've made a great Prime Minister.

  • Weel said Jimmy - we can dae it and we will dae it!

  • Never forgive him for the hatchet job he did on the miners, a fuckin class traitor.

  • A clever insightful man who i believe truly cared for Scots and Scotland and he never swayed in his mission or beliefs like some, a sad loss for Scotland. Will we ever see his likes again i hope so. A true Local Hero for the working people of Scotland.

  • You are the bigot here, with an opinion that makes you a laughing stock. Scargill received a large salary on the back of ordinary people losing their jobs.

    He was a parasite.

You are unable to comprehend anything that isn't from middle England.

I had Shakespeare rammed down my gullet at school and that really was garbage.

  • @BillDFC So you don't know how many Jaguars he had, and you just made it up! No surprise there.

My opinions on Burns are 'biased'? Of course they are biased, it's called an educated opinion. Whenever Burns couldn't think of a rhyming word he invented one. You are clearly bigotted against the English, of which Scargill is one, so invent lies just to justify one of the biggest working class traitors and con-men of the modern age, namely Jimmy Reid.

  • @CrankCase08 How many should he have had? Like your bigoted, ignorance of Burns, your opinions on Reid are equally biased.

Wrap yourself in an England flag and shout abuse at the rest of the World.

  • @BillDFC How many Jaguars did Arthur Scargill have at once then?

You're a real hypocrite talking about 'self survivalist' when you defend Reid, who was always an egotistical deceiver, as well as a windbag, constantly trying to appear clever by spouting rubbish that was produced by Robert Burns, who was one of the most pretentiously crappy literate figures that Britain has ever produced.

Typical Jock Nationalists sticking together like birds of a feather.

  • @CrankCase08 Jimmy Reid didn't have as many Jaguars as Scargill. Good riddance to Scargill and his bunch of self survivalist deceivers.

  • Jimmy was a REAL working class hero, he's bang on about the modern labour party, they're just red tories now, take a look at "news net scotland dot com" (all one word) for great articles you wont see in the right wing papers. c'mon the SNP!

  • @BoonyBanny, that is how the elite continue to control us and stay at the top, divide and conquer, seduce and use. Sad but true.
