I would hate to be in a crash in this car.... bleaurgh. Think I'd throw up from that GROSS steering wheel airbag.

@H31MU7 Maybe their crash sensors could detect whether one side is being loaded more than the other and deploy the curtain airbag on that side. Like in this collision, the driver curtain airbag would go off, but if the impact happened on the passenger side, that curtain would go off. And yes, Suzi does make safe vehicles.

@whattheheck1000 It was a joke at how stupid someone would have to be to be trapped in their car by the roof/curtain airbag.

@H31MU7 That's the whole point of the driver curtain airbag going off... to avoid any hard contacts with the pillar or window for the driver. The passenger is moving toward the left (driver) side and hence has little risk of contacting the pillar or window.

@whattheheck1000 I'd rather they both go off. Seldom will a crash happen exactly as NCAP predicts it, and having them go off in any sort of crash will prevent any inevitable side movement of the passenger inside causing injury to the head/shoulders.
Also Protip: If you are unable to remove yourself from a vehicle because of an air filled (i think they even deflate after use) flap of fabric, it's probably best for the world if you DON'T get out in time.
