  • I'm 39 yrs old and when I was a child my father would also play Elvis to the point where I was sick of him. NOT NOW. I absolutely love the man for many many many reasons. When my 11 yr old son gets mad at me now, he will say ' And Elvis can't sing mom!". I just laugh. I try to teach him that the 'talent' that is out there today in no way compare's to Elvis and what he did for music and millions and millions of people. He has brought happiness to my life in times of despair and I love him.

  • this song is one of my fav.

  • USUALLY I DON'T REALLY CARE ABOUT 'ARTISTS' THAT DON'T WRITE THEIR OWN MATERIAL, BUT I GOT AN EXCEPTION FOR ELVIS, LIKE WHATEVER THE GUY SAID BELOW, HE TRANSFORMS THEM INTO SOMETHING ELSE

  • I'M NOT ONE OF THOSE FAGS THAT SAID I WAS BORN IN THE WRONG GENERATION, BUT I COULD JUST IMAGINE MYSELF PLAYING THIS SONG ON THE JUKEBOX OVER AND OVER AGAIN IF I WAS AROUND IN THAT ERA..........

  • funny, when elvis first started out, the country stations wouldnt play him cause he sounded too black, and the r&b stations wouldnt play him cause he sounded too hillbilly.

  • I love this version of the song, sounds good

  • I have said this many times. I listen to lotsa different types of music and vocal palaverins' . One can safely say Elvis A. Presley was one of the best, and the man who launched modern music with ...well... just listen to his stuff...

  • why does the dislike button even exist on elvis videos?

  • It is true that Elvis did not write lyrics, but the way he tranformed songs was outstanding. He was a genius.

  • Bill Haley is known the world over as the Father of Rock ’n’ Roll/Rockabilly. Haley was the first white artist to combine elements of rhythm & blues, western swing, and hillbilly music to produce the upbeat, danceable, and infectious sound known today as rock ’n’ roll/rockabilly.

  • Elvis really did Bill Monroe and the Stanley Brothers proud with this!
