  • any tips on how to get the part at H smooth? playing on each others drums is hard, my friend and i are doin this duet in about a week and thats the one part we cant get right.

  • um watch us. we just practiced it alot. and did alot of hitting knuckles.

    When we played it with carriers on, we got in front of each other & that was a little easier.

  • what do you play the snare or tenors

  • It's not unusual

  • I didn't know Carlton Banks could play snare!

  • @horaciovalencia Lol I didn't mean to write to you, but yeah.

  • @FisherP01 Ey man I think your arguing with the wrong person. First of all I'm not ignorant. I said " LOL grip means nothing" because I play matched. I was directing it at all the people who were bombing the vid. cause the guy was playing matched. I know where traditional came from. I myself didn't pick up traditional until about a year and a half ago. The only reason I learned it was cause the local Univiersity drumline plays with it. I PREFER matched. So We cool ?

  • @horaciovalencia Actually match grip is the new thing dude. And honestly do you even know the correct position of the drum for match grip? When it is horizontal. Tradition grip was popular because of how they wore the drum on a 45 degree angle. Now everyone is playing match grip because of how the snares are made. Don't judge someones stick position because of your ignorance...

  • Its pretty good. Boo match grip..

  • NIIICEE tenor parts not too hard as i thought doing it at solo&ensamble next year :}

  • @horaciovalencia no grip means everything you just cant drum.

  • @horaciovalencia um ya it does im not a kid and match grips for queers

  • is michael holland your percussion instructor?
