6201 Princess Elizabeth on The Doric Olympian 6/3/10

On 6th March a opportunitty not be missed was to see LMS Priness Royal Class on southern section of the west coast main line. Hauled by 6201 Princess Elizabeth 1 of 2 of the class survive but only 1 operational did the The Doric Olympian from Crewe to Kensington Olympia and return with the return starting Euston this time this was 6201 first appearance at the LMS terminus for about 8 years, the tour had started from Birmingham New Street Diesel hauled.
We first see the Princess running 30 minutes late storming through Harrow and Wealdstone where britians worst railway accidients happen in 1952 involving 3 trains including 6202 Princess Ann.
We then see 6201 at britians busiest railway station Clapham Junction being prepared for return run.
Then we see 6201 storming through Kensington Olympia heading for Willesden where it was to top and tail with 47773 into Euston.
Then we see it at Euston ready for depature up Camden Bank.
Finally 6201 gets right away from Euston.
Sorry for the blind person that gets in the way making me move my tripod and zoom went abit wrong on last shot.

No the 47 didnt help at all, its only there for dragging the train around when Notwork Rail requires it.

We saw her at Rugby, they let her have the regulator for sure!
