This is the second part of the Daleks masterplan reconstructions, I know there are a couple of camera movement errors but i think they add to it as hartnells era was well know for mistakes. What do you think ?

  • Excellent job. The animation and set design are both excellent and I like the way that you've made it more realistic by having the Dalek lights to light up. The only thing I would say is that sometimes you have keep the camera in the same position for too long. But apart from that, it's brilliant! I also really like the customs for chen and the daleks themselves. Most people would just use the dead planet daleks.

  • @DarthHazza Cheers i was thinking of just using the dead planet daleks but then i thought nah try and get the correct style of dalek at least and the daleks masterplan style is my favourite type of dalek. As for the camera mistakes, thats what happens in a scene when you have filmed half of it and decide to leave the rest until the next day, but i think it adds to it as there where a lot of camera/acting/prop mistakes in the hartnell years.

  • @MrClassicDoctorWho I almost peed my pants in laughter actually seeing Simon Pegg as Mavic Chen. If they ever remade it 'live action' - I would now be satified with NO ONE ELSE but Simon Pegg as Chen. lmao Good Job AnubisX1.

  • "...more like a catastrophe". Mavic Chen is actually funny lol. He should have concerntrated on acting instead of trying to rule the universe

  • This is cool, but it's a shame you took all the time to make this, and then uploaded it in a squish-o-vision aspect ratio.

  • @AnubisX1 Well my fav cybermen r the originals from the tenth planet. They are exactly what they cybermen were supposed to be - people who had to replace their organs with metal and plastic (OK cloth and sellotape) just to survive, so you get the face covered in cloth with holes for eyes, the human hands still there, the robotic voice, they just look the part. Nowadays they look and walk like robots - which is exactly what they are NOT. Im in my 20s and I LOVE 60s dr who. They got it right

  • @tenthplanet1995 Know what you mean, the cybermen in the Wheel in Space, scared the crap out me when i was a kid, esp that scene where jarvis trys to attack one, it in turns beats him up, flings him across the corridor and then shoots him, that would not be allowed on tv today! I also liked the earthshock ones. The new cybers just seem like robots esp after doomsday they seem to give up on converting people in the next doctor.

  • @AnubisX1 The same with the cybermen. 60s cybermen were cool and frightening. The 70s n 80s cybermen were pitiful. And dont get me started on the new oness...

  • @AnubisX1 The Daleks were never the same after the 60s. I mean just think of day of the daleks...the voices were woeful on that! But I know what you mean, hawkins and graham gave the daleks a real edge and evil streak, and they actually plotted. The dialogue in masterplan is genius. You make ur incopentence sound like an achievemnt!! lol and when the daleks are getting angry and start shouting. class. Fav dalek story - power of the daleks by far.

  • @tenthplanet1995 Yeah the Daleks of the 60's were my favourites, they just seemed more intelligent/devious/evil than the later ones, and you could believe that they would conquer and destroy. They also seemed to have a much bigger vocab compared to later stories. Evil of the Daleks in my mind was the last great dalek story.

  • @AnubisX1 By far the daleks sounded better in the 60s. I absolutely HATE what that twat nicholas briggs has done with the daleks. The sound of the voices were the best in the dalek masterplan too. Peter Hawkins has been the only person to the Dalek voices right.

And why constantly use the phrase 'exterminate' when the daleks in this story sometimes say 'EXECUTE' and blast someone. I think it sounds much better.
