Still as creepy looking as when I dived it last time 25 years ago!
Had a accident there as well.Developed a pin hole leak in my ear drum,anddidnt know up or down.Good job my dive buddy was paying attention and dragged me to the surface.

We are working on opening it up as a dive center, will know more in the coming months.

i often walk up to that quarry as i grew up around there. i thought it was so blue due to chemicals from the near factory? i know that a few people have comitted suicide by driving their cars in there. did you find anything?

You are propably talking about the bigest and the nearest one to the factory. As I know locals use to call that place blue lagune. I hadn't opportunity to dive there yet. Meaby nex month. One of my friends did few dives there. Max depth about 50m. Water is really blue and viz is very nice.

Above film is from the another hole which is more on the west from the big one. An all we found there is on the movie. Las time we were there I found something like old whel or the place they used to use to pump out water from quary. The top was on 26m an the actual bottom at 33m. The max depth of that quary is 37m.

max depth is under the old mining winch. its about 45/46 mtrs, getting deeper every year... dive safe

YEp.
Viz was very nice. Even without sun. I think good torch would be helpfull. Hopefully next time I will have my torch fixed.
As I know max depth there is 55m. Last time I found only 37 but I did not check all possible spots.
