I said in a college paper story on vivisection that they should use prisoners and got into trouble. they had to write a retraction for the first time ever. this was 1987 or 88.

@kurox67 not that I remember. Back in the day, bands use to put out video tapes with different videos in them. Sometimes they would be played in dance clubs or goth clubs (the videos) along with the music, too. If this did ever appear on MTV, it would have been on waaay late at night, like between midnite and 6 am.

@mushr00mhelmet sadly modern humanists oppose anything resembling actual punishment. incarceration as a form of punishment was relatively unknown until modern times. it was just the internment until actual punishment was administered.  i guess some people view punishment as retribution and therefore as undesirable because it doesnt accord with the new age feely weely new age view that peace and pacifism should be the course of action in all instances.

I love almost all of Skinny Puppies work. It took me quite some time but know I love it. The first album I ever bought was last rights which if I remember correctly came out when I was 5. Ha! What a wonderful album(even though this song which is awesome is not on it)
