A part of me feels that this show gets hate because its not the 87 cartoon series.

I love TMNT 03 series and its dark aproach to the show (until that stupid as fuck Fast forwaard series)

If by ruined you mean dragged the franchise outta the dirt and pushed for a cartoon that was true to the original comics but with new twists and a respectable toyline.

If he was so greedy why does he continue to publish the comics even though they make little to no money? A lot of fans may not like his current stories but since he co created the TMNT I think he more than deserves

his own little corner of the franchise to tell the stories he he wants to tell.

First the change he brought into the comics. Second that he vanished much needed characters. Third that he seems to forget the T in TMNT, which stands for Teenager. One mature thing you do, when you are a teenager is, to fall in love. I never understood, why he took out Mona Lisa and Venus from the show(both made by Kevin Eastman by the way) and even hates Venus with passion, just because TNM series fucked her up. It wasn´t Venus fault that the show was awful She was a victim of that.

Peter Laird is responsible for the 2003 series. And we have to thank him for this. Without his intervention, we would still have to watch the 80´s cartoons or even TNM series. The 80´s cartoons were just to make money, because you can´t just live from air. The negative effecht was, that the fans forgot about the original intension and tune of TMNT. They thought, the turtles are pizza eating super hero like crime fighters, which they are not.

But still, I have my one reasons to not like Laird.

@UnlimitedProdiction1 because someone decided that the season (Demon Shredder) previous to FF was too intense for little children so they dumb it down and even give them eyes while they wear masks. Major letdown imo.

the first cartoon series was ncie to watch when you where 4, and i also have to say that the first series inspired me for become a comic-drawer once, but the 03 just gives you more action, more story, i watched everysingle episode of it!
