Although both D'Arcangelo and Netrebko are great (Netrebko is also a pretty woman), and although I'm a Harnoncourt fan, this version is very awkward.

@HittokiriBattousai17 I know that but he doesn't seem to be measuring anything...
-
@LordBeff They are counting the space to see if their marriage bed fits in the room.

Amazing stage-concept!

This performance is a dramatic masterpiece imho. If you dont understand it, go watch Ponnelle production.

Oh my god... what a stupid stage direction... they seems drunk. And Susanna put the curtain on her head as a hat?? :(

I disliked this as a whole: stage directions, singers and interpretation. They seem to have totaly missed how the voices are supposed to behave with each other. I feel like as if they were each floating independantly, when they should be passionately enlaced.

Wonderful to listen to with eyes closed.

@malcken HAHAHAHAHAHA! This comment made my day.

what... the.. hell..
great singers...but I don't like this version, I think it's senseless. What is he measuring? and what sort of hat is she talking about?

D'Arcangelo is stunning as usual. The production is just totally horrible. What horrendous misguided stage direction.
