  • Each weekly review will be at a different location. We're back at the FM Lounge for the next episode of the talk show, as you'll see next week.

  • I really enjoyed this video. But I'm also really surprised you're not reading Blackest Night. o.0

  • Personally, I'm not a big fan of Geoff Johns, so I avoid most of his work, unless its something like Secret Origin, which I am picking up.

  • Great episode! I'm holding off on Siege cause I felt burned by Secret Invasion & Reborn. I'll see how it goes & maybe pick up the trade.

Off topic, that wrestling video game looks awesome. I might have to make a trip up just to play it.

  • Believe me, I'm very weary when it comes to Bendis, and I was disappointed by Secret Invasion as well (and House of M), but Siege is a step above those--at least in its lack of forced dialogue.

  • The graphics on it are great!!! (the WWF game that was behind us) Lot's of old school fun and tons of 'vintage' characters!

  • @Rodimus78 Modern writers feel they have to make her as 'tough' as Batman or Wolverine in order to make her appeal to readers. It saddens me to think that DC has devolved from a company that published intelligent, imaginative stories (especially in the Silver Age) to a place where 'events' like Sue Dibny's rape, Speedy's dismemberment and Max Lord's 'shocking' murder take the place of 22 page story that actually means something. DC: From modern day fairy tales to second rate WWE.

  • @Rodimus78 Again, I agree! I picked up random issues, and they felt rushed and hackneyed. There's a story I read where Rucka was pitching his ideas to the editor of the book, and the editor looked 'panicked', so Rucka said "don't worry, she's till going to punch people in the face!". Crisis averted, Mr. Editor!

  • Greg Rucka should've never written Wonder Woman to begin with. I've found his run to be suspicously fan-ficy & pretentious from the moment he slapped her with The Almighty Batman. It's his run that kind of made Ms. Marvel look more relevant.
