I shot this for my documentary soundtrack. The musicians are former Lao opera performers(Mor Lam). They are now fishermen living in Don Det island. Note: there is no electricity in this island yet.

I think there is electricity in the islands now although I haven't been there since I made this video. Do you also know that few dam projects are being planned for Mekong river? I don't know the exact location, but it might be somewhere in Pakse.
