I was planning on reviewing this in 2 weeks but once I got into the book I couldn't really stop so I decided now would be the best time before I forget what the book was all about! I don't think this is one of my best review videos which is a shame since this is such a great book. So much happened in this book it was great. I gotta say Engineers are definitely amazing lovable creatures!
@bigethaniel Yeah I've been meaning to read it. You know what...I'm going to start chapter 1 tonight. I've been putting it off for too long now! I just hope I don't see that Halo Evolutions book near it because I love short stories and I have not read any of them in that book yet lol.

@ToxicAsian5702 Well i havn't read it yet, but I'm assuming if you read ghosts of onyx first, youll get a better understanding of the halsey storyline. When it comes to spartan 1,2,3 programs I'm kind of lost too lol. Perhaps if he explains it to you it'll be helpful. There's not much forerunner stuff here other than examining some of their left over technology.

@ForeignDzadzai ok. i read the fall of reach. but like since halo 4 is coming out my friends are talking bout it. one of my friends read the books and he talks bout stuff that i dont know at all. like the spartan 3 program, forerunners, ghost of onyx and stuff so im starting to read the books

@ToxicAsian5702 Hmm. Well, it helps if you understand the basic concept of some storylines. For example, you need to know what the Spartan program was, who was in charge, and understand how it was a controversial program. In terms of forerunners, in this book it's as if you are an archeologist and are examining their leftover behinds. I would say reading Fall of Reach is a must even if you don't plan to read this book since knowing Chiefs origins is handy.

@ForeignDzadzai do i need to read the other books. like the original halo books to understand alot of the stuff in glasslands? cause i get confused with like forerunners and other wierd stuff like that

@BWOization "Because at the end of glasslands Parangosky showed Halsey her journal on reach and said that in the journal that she refered to the spartan IIs as hers and in the journal she does keep saying that."
I never said that the IIs were not hers, what im saying is that she knew every last of the IIs personally, how could she confuse IIs and IIIs, its impossible.

@BWOization Well, my over all point at the end of it all is that Reach is a total rewrite and has nothing to do with the actual story, we know for a fact that the IIIs of Noble team do no exist, because the oldest ones are Tom and Lucy, we know that Halsey went apeshit in Glasslands and Ghosts of Onyx over there existence, yet she didnt in the game, and the fact that the battle for Reach was massive and intense, it was not a surprise attack what so ever...

@Duckys129 I have not read Onyx yet but I did not have problems understanding what was going on. That being said, I already knew Halsey was on Onyx along with other bits of information. If you do read Onyx though, you'll probably learn more about what Halsey and the Spartans were doing there in the first place. I'm planning on reading it next week.
